Thanks for praying for me and reading my blog everyone! I had a great time.

DR Update

Today, July 17, we mostly got ready to leave the resort. I got up, but was not feeling very well. I think maybe the food made me a little sick. But I feel better now. Don't worry!

Well, tonight I'm staying with Jeff and Brenda Hurst. And then I'm coming home tomorrow.. 

I'm coming home tomorrow!! YAY!! Not hat I didn't enjoy being in the Dominican Republic, but I can't wait to come home.

DR Update

 On July 16, we didn't do much except have our opening in the morning and get ready for the resort. That's where we slept that night. At the resort, there was a buffet. Brittney Humble said that no matter what time it is, you can always find a place to eat. YEAH! Also, there is a place where you can get free drinks! This place was pretty nice, not to rub it in or anything...

DR Update

On July 15, we went to the orphanage for the last time. (This was not the last time for the interns, though.) We did stuff there to get the place ready to be painted, like scraping and stuff. We didn't get to paint, though. We also went to a giant place where there were lots of different bodies of water. Christian said that that used to be one guy's bathing area. Then this girl named Molly said that her great grandma had something to do with that. Yeah, that was fun.

DR Update:

Last night we had another church service and this time Jeff Hurst preached. (Last time Christian Humble preached.) It was another cool service. They had the same kind of music, and I'm guessing that most of the music here is like that. it's cool though.
Today, we went to another church and did a "medical clinic" thing, where there were three groups: Face painting, medical stuff like vitamins, and prayer.
After this, we went out to a chinese restarant. The food was pretty good. While we were there, I was sitting next to Christian Humble. We were joking around. Because we were talking about how the Indians own all of the casinos, we were talking about how much money they got from it. So then we joked about talking to Indians and saying, "Me Sitting Bull" or "Me Sitting Duck" (Christian came up with the duck one). We were doing that becuase we wanted money from the Indians. Yeah, tonight was fun.

DR Update:

Last night we went to a church survice. The music was different and cool. The lights went in and out, which made it even cooler. I prayed for people along with the rest of the team. Also, I cried a little. Yeah, last night was cool.
